Former champion and current Ultimate commentator, Daniel Cormier analyzed the facts of the fight between Jorge masvidal e Colby covington in a restaurant in Florida (USA). On his official channel on 'YouTube', DC stated that 'Jesus das Ruas' had the chance to put an end to his tormentor in a fight in UFC 272 and does not agree with 'reckoning' outside the Octagon.

“A lot of these fights happen before the fights happen. But (in the octagon) is the only place I will judge Jorge masvidal. You had 25 minutes less than two weeks to do everything you wanted. It doesn't seem like this was a fair fight. This feels a little different,” DC said.

The controversy happened on Monday night (21), while Covington was having dinner with friends at the restaurant 'Papi Steak'. Upon learning that his former friend was at the scene, Masvidal appeared and, on the way out, hit Colby, who ended up with a broken tooth, arm injury and fractured ribs.

In a report made by the police, Colby said that Jorge appeared at the scene wearing a hood, surrounded by three or four other men. Masvidal, in turn, suggested that the attack happened because of Covington's statements related to his daughter, during a fight between them. There have not yet been any official charges and the police are evaluating the case.
