After debuting in Ultimate with victory, the former Strikeforce champion Ronaldo Jacare has a greater challenge ahead. In Belo Horizonte, on September 4th, the Brazilian faces Yushin Okami, third place in the middleweight category ranking. Despite the Japanese player's good form, Josuel Distak, Jacaré's coach, was very confident for the fight, which will take place at UFC in Combate 3.
“Jacaré is ready. It will be an important fight, as they are two fighters top-five, and we are focused. It's a bad matchup for Okami in every aspect of the fight. I don't see how he could win. The fact is: let's take Okami's weakness and exploit it. I believe his weak point is his stand-up game, so we’re going for the knockout,” said Distak, in an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website.
Ronaldo Jacare face the Japanese Yushin Okami in the co-main fight of UFC no Combate 3, on September 4th, at Ginásio do Mineirinho, in Belo Horizonte (MG). In the main event of the night, light heavyweight Glover Teixeira faces the North American, and TUF 8 champion, Ryan bader.
