The Nevada State Athletic Commission announced that 12 athletes who participated in The Ultimate Fighter 8 Final and were tested in the drug test obtained negative results for the use of steroids and drugs. The event took place on December 13th, in Las Vegas and was broadcast live on Spike TV.
The fighters tested were the finalists of the reality show Efrain Escudero and Philippe Nover among the light ones, in addition to Ryan bader and Vinny Magalhães in light heavyweight. In addition to super fight winners: Anthony Johnson, Wilson Gouveia, Junie Browning, Krzysztof Soszynski, Eliot Marshall, Tom Lawlor, Shane Nelson and Roli Delgado
