Double PFL champion, Kayla harrison surprised by announcing that he would extend his current contract and, consequently, refused negotiations with UFC and Bellator. In an interview with 'ESPN Sports Center', the North American revealed the organization's promise to make agreements with renowned fighters so that they represent a real danger in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg.).

“I think there were a lot of contract negotiations, a lot of lucrative offers. Ultimately, the PFL had the right to match any contract I received and they stepped up a lot and now I will stay with the PFL. I am excited. I spoke to Donn Davis (co-owner of PFL) last night and he made it very clear to me that the goals I have for myself, the way I want to challenge myself will still be fulfilled and they support me in that 100%. They’re not afraid to pay a lot of money and bring in big-name fighters to challenge me,” Harrison said.

The new contract could earn Kayla a lot of money, as well as a potential bonus of US$1 million (about R$5 million) if she wins the PFL season for the third year in a row. With her immediate future secured, Harrison is eager to get back to work.
