Dana White gave her opinion on the possible transition of Francis Ngannou from MMA to boxing for a possible confrontation against the boxer Tyson Fury. According to him, the UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) would not have a good chance of winning the fight and says that facing the Englishman is a bad idea.

“It’s a very bad idea for Francis – a very bad idea. Just like Deontay Wilder – he also had that one-punch power,” White said in an interview with 'Barstool Sports'.

Dana and Ngannou still have a troubled relationship due to the imbroglio in the champion's contract with the UFC, as the Cameroonian revealed that he would like to have bigger salaries in his fight purses. Francis is now recovering from a knee injury and is expected to be out until the end of the year.

The fight, however, may not happen. In a recent interview with 'The MMA Hour’, Tyson Fury stated that he will say goodbye to the sport against Dillian Whyte, in a duel scheduled to take place on April 23. A current boxing phenomenon, the Englishman is champion of the WBC (World Boxing Confederation) and 'The Ring' and has a record of 31 victories in 32 engagements.
