The time for the long-awaited 'reckoning' between Jorge masvidal e Colby covington. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', 'Gamebred' did not minimize his rivalry with his former training partner, he said he still believes in a new opportunity to fight for the belt and promised an easy victory in the UFC 272, which will take place next Saturday (05).

“This (a victory over Colby covington) will put me as the number 1 contender. I'll be competing for the title soon after, so that's definitely a plus. But as for having beaten great fighters and so on, I'm not even going to talk to my grandchildren about this guy. It's just going to be some personal stuff. I'll say, 'Yes, I hit this guy and he's a guy I never liked.' That’s all,” said Masvidal.
Jorge made his hatred for Covington clear, promised an 'easy victory' next Saturday and called his enemy overrated.
“I don’t like his style, how he fights. I think I'll make it look too easy on Saturday night and people won't even give me credit. They'll say, 'Yes, I think Masvidal was right. Colby is overrated, overrated, and a piece of s**t,” concluded Gamebred.
Former friends and training partners, Jorge masvidal e Colby covington became declared enemies, mainly after 'Chaos' left the 'American Top Team' academy. After much provocation via social media, the two athletes will go up to the octagon to settle scores in the main fight of the UFC 272, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
