Away from the MMA spotlight since February 2020, Jon Jones continues to go through troubled moments in his private life. Arrested in 2021, accused of domestic violence against his fiancée Jessie Moses, the former UFC champion confirmed the end of his relationship with the mother of his three daughters. The revelation was made in response to a fan on Twitter.

“My fiancée left me about two months ago. Today, she confirmed that there is no going back. If you are a person who does not like Jon Jones, make a toast. I feel like shit”, wrote the athlete, in an excerpt published by 'BJPenn.com'.
The last major controversy involving Jon happened at the end of September 2021. At the time, the light heavyweight (up to 93kg) MMA legend was in Las Vegas (USA) to receive a tribute from Ultimate.
Moments after entering the company's 'Hall of Fame', for his historic confrontation against Alexander Gustafson, the fighter ended up causing problems in a hotel. Subsequently, the accusation came to light that the athlete had attacked Moses, which resulted in the arrest of the former UFC champion.
Months after the accusation, the complaint against 'Bones' was dropped and the fighter, once again, escaped a more severe punishment.
Within MMA, Jones continues to prepare for his debut in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) of Ultimate. Recently, the fighter even challenged Stipe Miocic for a clash. Jon's return to MMA, after more than two years of inactivity, still has no confirmed date.
