The sky is the limit for Khamzat Shimaev. Treated like a star by the UFC, the Swede has bold plans for his future in the company. With his usual confidence, the athlete revealed that he is looking for three belts in the organization. In more than 20 years of Ultimate, the feat has never been achieved.

“I’ll probably go for some belts. I want to become the best. I don't want to be just a normal guy with a belt. I want two or three. We will see. If I have the opportunity, I will do it”, said the athlete, in an interview with 'RT Sports'.
Hired by Ultimate in 2020, Khamzat shone every opportunity he stepped into the Octagon. Aggressive, hard-hitting and versatile, the athlete beat his rivals on the fast track whenever he played.
In his last match, Chimaev clashed against li jingliang. Against the Chinese, the Swede 'erased' his opponent in just over three minutes of confrontation and was never touched by his opponent.
Currently, Khamzat is negotiating a confrontation against Gilbert Durinho. If the confrontation is confirmed, the welterweight (up to 77kg) will have the first opportunity to be among the top 5 in Ultimate.
Undefeated in his career in MMA, with 10 victories in a row, Chimaev has already appeared among the company's middleweights. The combatant's privileged physique allows the fighter to alternate between one division and another.
