While the UFC does not make the duel between Gilbert Durinho e Khamzat Shimaev, the two fighters waste no time and continue the saga of provocations on social networks and interviews. This time it was the Brazilian who responded to the latest comments from the Russian-born Swedish citizen.

After Khamzat Shimaev stating that he does not see Gilbert Durinho a great challenge, the Brazilian minimized the provocations, said he respected his opponent and was excited for the likely duel.

“I think he is confident. He says whatever he wants. I think he's very good, but I'm the biggest test he'll have. I'm excited. The date cited by Gilbert Durinho for the duel is the same as UFC 273, likely venue for the meeting with Chimaev. The main fight of the event is the fight for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg) between Alexander Volkanovsky and the Korean zombie.
