The participant of the first season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' and former UFC welterweight fighter Mike Swick announced that he has been battling cancer. In a rant on 'Instagram', the North American stated that he 'got a fright' because he had been suffering from the disease for seven months without knowing it and, in a sincere outburst, recounted his battle for life.

“I am fighting cancer in the hardest and most aggressive battle I have ever had. It started with a 48-hour water fast, then the first chemotherapy session with an additional 24-hour water fast, then a day of solid organic plant-based foods, followed by another chemotherapy and fasting, then plant-based again, maintaining this routine until the week is over. From then on, I maintained chemotherapy every other day for the next 3 weeks, while eating only cancer-killing organic plant-based foods daily. After 7 days, all 15 swollen lymph nodes in my neck were completely gone. I never had a single fever and vital signs were always normal. The first round for me, for sure! (…) Now recovering at home and really feeling amazing mentally! Vitals are all still good, but still full of chemotherapy and a little weak and quite thin. The lowest I got after fasting and the first week was 68,4kg,” Mike reported.

Then, still in the publication, Swick reported that he noticed a worsening in his health after the side effect of the COVID-19 vaccine and, only after taking the tests, he noticed that it was an even more difficult fight. He also took the opportunity to leave a warning message to his fans.

“I apparently had this for over 7 months without knowing it. Even after passing an initial biopsy on my lymph node. Since all the vitals were good and I passed all the regular tests and blood work, we assumed it was side effects from the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, as the nodules literally swelled the next day. So if you go back 7 months on my IG, you can see how much fun I was having with cancer and not even knowing it. Freediving, skydiving, training… kind of crazy. Everyone be safe and never listen to the first diagnosis,” she concluded.
