The rivalry between Nate diaz e Conor McGregor, who faced each other twice in 2016, with one victory for each side, left fans expecting a trilogy that was never scheduled. And if it depends on Nate diaz, it won't be anytime soon.

Conor McGregor is recovering from the serious leg fracture suffered in the trilogy against Dustin poirier, in July 2021. The Irishman, who underwent surgery, recently returned to training, but his return to the Octagon is only scheduled for the second half of the year.
The target of Nate diaz at the moment is Dustin poirier, former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg). The two fighters have been exchanging provocations on social media in recent months.
“I'm in my last fight of the contract now. I would like to face Dustin poirier. Next month, when everything changes or people win and start doing something entertaining, everything will be different, I'm sure,” said Diaz.
even though Nate diaz e Dustin poirier have already made clear their intentions to face each other, the UFC has not yet made the official proposal. According to Diaz, the main objective of the provocations on social media is to convince Ultimate to book the fight.
“This s*** is very unpleasant. I have more fans than the rest of the people and they're not letting me fight, so what do I have to do? I have to talk shit to them on the internet”, he concluded.
