André Galvão and Eduardo Pamplona win in Canada

Brazil put on a show at Fight Sport Championship Evolution, which took place this Sunday (14), in the city of Ontaro, Canada.

Fighting his second MMA fight, two-time jiu-jitsu world champion André Galvão made his ground game prevail and defeated Mickey Gomes with an armbar in the first round. Eduardo Pamplona, who was coming off a victory over Daniel Acácio at the Santos Fight Festival last week, also left the cage with triumph, defeating American Matt Knaub with a guillotine choke.

“In my fight, we started studying each other a little and exchanged some blows. I put him down, hit from inside the guard, passed and put my knee on his stomach. The fight returned to the feet and, when he got into my legs, I used the guillotine and submitted him, at the end of the first round”, the Brazilian told PDL
