flyweight John lineker was initially scheduled to face Phil Harris at UFC Rio 4. However, an injury sidelined the Englishman, who will be replaced by José Maria No Chance, who will make his debut in the biggest MMA organization in the world.

For the Paraná native, the change was welcome. He thinks Harris' takedown game doesn't fit well with his fierce striking style.

PUBLICITY:

“I think this is a better opponent for me,” Lineker told MMAjunkie. “Against Harris, he would try to take me down. I prefer to fight standing up. These are the guys I enjoy fighting the most.”

Until recently, “Mãos de Pedra” and “No Chance” shared the national MMA scene. Now as rivals in the UFC, Lineker guarantees that he knows Saturday's opponent's game well.

PUBLICITY:

“I'm already familiar with José. I studied him well. I believe he will try to look for submissions while I will face him with my striking.”
