After defeat at UFC on FOX 8, Aaron Riley announces retirement

The 32-year-old North American made the announcement through his Twitter profile

This Saturday (27), experienced North American fighter Aaron Riley, 32, ended his career after losing to Justin Salas via split decision at UFC on FOX 8. Riley, who lost four of his last six fights, made the advertisement through Twitter.

“I had my last MMA fight tonight”, wrote the now former athlete on his profile on the microblogging network. The gym athlete Jackson's MMA, the same as Jon Jones e Georges St Pierre, also had stints at PRIDE, IFL, AFC, Shooto and Bodog Fight.

Aaron Riley ends his career with a record of 30 wins, 14 losses and one draw. The American began his career in 1997, at just 17 years old, performing at the event HOOKnSHOOT, in his home state of Indiana. The fighter is even part of the Hall of Fame Organization.
