“I'm fine, I feel really good. I feel like I'm prepared, I trained really hard. I am doing great! He's tough, he's a very versatile guy, good in all areas, but I'm better than him in all areas. He's good, I'm better. It's going to be a good fight. He’s going to try to finish me off, and it’s going to be fun,” Strickland said.

Close to the top-5 middleweights, Sean believes he deserves to fight for the category's belt, if he emerges victorious in the duel against Jack hermansson.

“I would love to fight for the belt. I think all the top guys have already had their shot at the title, so if (Jared) Cannonier doesn't win, I'd like to fight for the belt. I'm the only new blood in this category”, concluded 'Tarzan'.

Riding on five consecutive victories, Strickland hasn't felt the bitter taste of defeat since May 2018, when he was knocked out in the first round. The North American has an MMA record of 24 victories and three setbacks/
