According to the website, Thiago Silva faces Matt Hamill in October in Brazil

The UFC edition that will be held in Brazil on October 9th does not yet have a defined location, but, according to the “MMA Weekly” website, its first fight has already been defined. This Wednesday (24), the page reported that Thiago Silva will face Matt Hamill at the event.

In June, at TUF Brasil 2 Finale, Thiago returned from suspension with victory over Rafael Feijão. After the triumph, the possibility of a future confrontation against Antonio Pezão was raised, after the heavyweight challenged his former training partner to a reckoning. The unusual fight, however, should not happen for now.

The UFC event on October 9th has already been confirmed by the organization, but the location has not yet been decided. The capital Brasília is considered a favorite to host the fight night, which should be part of the “Fight Night” series. The fight between Erick silva and South Korean Dong Hyun Kim is rumored for the edition.
