After suggesting a fourth fight with Moreno in Mexico, Deiveson changes his mind and asks for a duel in Brazil

Back at the top of the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg.) of Ultimate, Deiveson Figueiredo has already confirmed his desire to hold a fourth fight against Brandon Moreno. Winner in the trilogy valid for the group title, in UFC 270, held this Saturday (22), the Brazilian, however, quickly backtracked on the possibility of facing the athlete in Mexico. The Paraná native explained the reason.

“I wanted to fight with him (Moreno) in Mexico, but if we enter Mexico with (Henry) Cejudo by our side, we won't leave there anytime soon”, said Deiveson, in a press conference after the show, drawing laughter from his team.

Ready to share the Octagon with Brandon for the fourth time, Figueiredo has a new idea. With Mexico out of the question for now, the 'God of War' suggested the alternative.

“I'm thinking about moving this fight to Brazil. It gets better”, said the champion.

With no Ultimate events in Tupiniquim territory for over a year, the organization's delegation has a date set to return to the country. On May 7th, the UFC 274. The show will be held in Rio de Janeiro and already has Glover Teixeira in his first title defense at light heavyweight (up to 93kg.), when he faces Jiri Prochazka.
