The victory of Francis Ngannou No. UFC 270, held this Saturday (22), in Anaheim (USA) silenced critics around the world. The great performance of the 'giant' against the talented Cyryl Gane, in a duel to unify the heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg.), proved the Franco-Cameroonian's evolution within the company. The moment of consecration, however, was marked by the absence of Dana White, who did not climb into the octagon to wear the belt on the absolute champion.

President of Ultimate, Dana was one of the critics of Ngannou during the week of this weekend's show. Observing the 'giant's' interest in holding superfights outside the rules of MMA, the president even demanded focus from the then linear champion.
It is not yet known what led to White's absence from the Octagon. Moments before, the 'big boss' had complied with protocol and put on the belt in Deiveson Figueiredo, which surpassed Brandon Moreno in a fight for the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.).
In his last fight under his contract with the UFC, Ngannou stepped into the octagon to prove, once again, his talent in mixed martial arts. After a tepid start, the French-Cameroonian showed off his strategy and, betting on takedowns, managed to nullify Gane's technique.
After five rounds, Francis was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges. In addition to the achievement, Ngannou was also responsible for taking away Ciryl's unbeaten record in MMA.
