José Maria “No Chance” is another Brazilian signed by the UFC. He will debut against compatriot John Lineker at UFC Rio 4, taking over from Phil Harris, who was injured. The Englishman revealed that he left the fight due to a fractured face and used social media to share a photo of the injury.
“Unfortunately I had to withdraw from my fight at UFC 163 due to a fractured orbital bone,” Harris wrote on Twitter. “I will be back “TerminatorDoFuture”.
Outside the top 10 of the flyweight category in the UFC rankings, Harris was aiming for a victory over Lineker, ranked seventh in the rankings, to improve his position in the search for the challenger spot for the belt that belongs to Demetrious Johnson. The fighter did not say how long he will be out of action.
