Called 'traíra' by Henry Cejudo and Deiveson Figueiredo, Brandon Moreno don't want to hear about animosity during the week of UFC 270. On the 'media day' of the show that takes place this Saturday (22), the flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg) made a point of emphasizing that he is not a fan of provoking before the fight, he said that he doesn't want to take anything personally and called the two new friends 'kings of other people's shame'.

“Yeah, maybe that’s the goal: to finish this guy off. For me, it's not personal. He's trying to make this very personal. I understand, it's his way of doing business and I understand, I respect that. But for me it's just about winning this fight, putting an end to this false 'rivalry' between us, because, for me, it's just business. Join the fight, get a better life for my family, buy a bigger house and that’s it,” said Moreno.

The flyweight champion didn't pay much attention to his two new teammates and called them 'kings of other people's shame'.

“I'm a lucky guy, I'm a really lucky guy. Because it's not natural for me to do what trash talk, or talk shit about someone. But I'm a lucky guy because other people do it for me. So, this work, they can take this part. It's crazy...that's so fake, you know? I mean, my respect for them being the kings of other people's shame”, concluded the Mexican.

PUBLICITY:

Flyweight champion since June 2021, Brandon will face the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo for the third time in a row. The Mexican is undefeated in seven fights and has a record of 19 wins, five setbacks and two draws.
