Boxing: the path after MMA

As you may have already noticed, dozens of national and international fighters end up following the path of boxing after leaving MMA. But what does this really mean for the sport?

In general, boxing is a much more dynamic sport, as only one fighting style can be used during combat. Unlike MMA, where fights can be much more ‘’still’’, especially when they go to the ground.

PUBLICITY:

This change can be very beneficial for fighters who are looking to change a little, and test their skills in other competitions. However, this does not mean that boxing is an inferior sport to MMA, or that it is easier than MMA.

On the contrary, boxing ends up being an extremely technical sport, and it's not enough to just have ''a strong arm'' to get the better of it. In this way, boxing ends up being a way for retired fighters to better express their technical quality and skills.
