UFC 168 was originally going to be headlined by a rematch between Ronda Rousey e Miesha Tate, in a fight valid for the title of the women's bantamweight category. However, last Saturday, Dana White confirmed that the second duel between Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman will also take place on the same night. The UFC muse, who could have been upset about having left her role as the night's main attraction, showed relief with Ultimate's decision.

“I'm super happy to be on the same card as Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman,” Rousey told USA Today. “It will alleviate some of the stress and pressure of promoting the event, as there will be more people promoting this great show,” she added.

Ronda recognizes what the publicity and media feedback will bring to the rematch between Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman. The star remained humble about participating in what could be a historic moment for the UFC. “Their fight could very well be the best of the year, perhaps even the biggest in the history of the organization. I think it’s an honor to be part of this.”

UFC 168 is scheduled for December 28th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The show's promoters have only released the two main fights so far.
