Dana White praises Conor McGregor: 'One of the most loyal to me and the UFC'

In an interview with the podcast 'The Fight', the president classified the Irish fighter as one of the most faithful he has ever worked with in Ultimate

Sometimes accused of giving too much privilege to the Irish fighter, Dana White praised the 'Notorious' and made a point of praising his loyalty to him and the UFC. The statement was made in an interview with the podcast 'The Fight'.

“A lot of fighters have been incredibly loyal to me and I've been incredibly loyal to them. (Conor) McGregor is one of them. When you look at the way fighters are built, they are unlike anyone else on this planet. Ronda (Rousey), (Chuck) Liddell, (Matt) Hughes, McGregor, I don't want to mention people, but there have been a lot of fighters in the last 20 years who have been very loyal to me and the UFC,” Dana added.

Recovering from a serious injury suffered in the duel against Dustin poirier, in July, Conor is going through a complicated phase in his career. In his last four fights, the Irishman was defeated on three occasions. Former featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion, 'Notório' has a record of 22 triumphs and six setbacks in professional MMA.
