After a long wait, Nikolas Motta will finally make his UFC debut. According to information from the North American website “MMA Fighting”, the Brazilian lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) faces Drakkar Klose in an event not yet officially announced by the organization on April 16, at UFC APEX, in Las Vegas (USA).

Former Cage Fury FC champion, Nikolas Motta participated in the fourth edition of The Ultimate Fighter, when he was defeated by the season champion Glaico France. The contract with the UFC, however, came through the organization's other reality show: the Dana White Contender Series, in 2020.
“Iron Motta”, as he is known, expected to debut in 2021, but had three fights canceled throughout the year, against Damir Hadzović, Cameron VanCamp and, more recently, the veteran Jim Miller. The Nova União athlete turns 29 in February and has a professional record of 12 wins and three losses.
As much as Nikolas Motta, Drakkar Klose also had three commitments canceled in 2021, against Jai Herbert, Luis Pena e Jeremy Stephens. Unlike the Brazilian, however, the North American has already played seven times for Ultimate, with five wins and two losses. The Fight Ready athlete's last fight was in March 2020, when he was knocked out by Beneil Dariush.
