Heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou chooses the fighter with the best striking in MMA

One of the greatest knockout artists today, the outspoken Cameroonian named Ciryl Gane and Jon Jones as the main strikers working in mixed martial arts

Known for his knockout power, the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) Francis Ngannou gave his opinion on who would be the fighter with the best striking in MMA. In a statement to his channel on 'Youtube', the outspoken Cameroonian named his next opponent Cyryl Gane and the former light heavyweight leader (up to 93kg) Jon Jones as the best strikers in mixed martial arts.

“If we go in the kickboxing style, then I think Ciryl (Gane) is the best. But in general striking in MMA, I would give Jon Jones. Because, like, with the elbow and all these things he does, the oblique kick. For MMA, it’s the perfect striking,” said Ngannou.

Heavyweight champion since March 2020, 'Predator' is just over two weeks away from making his first title defense. On January 22nd, at UFC 270, Ngannou will face the interim leader Cyryl Gane in a valid confrontation for the unification of the belts. The show will be held at Honda center, in Anaheim, California (USA).
