After making an impressive debut in the UFC, knocking out Andreas Michailidis with a beautiful flying knee, the former kickboxing world champion Alex Poatán returns to the octagon on March 12th, when he faces Bruno Blindado. Fighting his compatriot, however, was not the only option available to Poatan.

Recently, the Polish Krzysztof Jotko, which comes from victory over Misha Cirkunov, in October, accused the Brazilian of having refused to face him in February 2022.

PUBLICITY:

“Look at this clown. I agreed to face you on February 12th! And you're running away afraid to fight because you don't know wrestling. Why are you scared?” attacked Jotko.

the attack of Krzysztof Jotko did not go unanswered. Last Sunday (26), Alex Poatán went to social media to refute the Polish man's comments. The Brazilian admitted that he had an offer to face Jotko, but turned it down as he considered the Pole “inexpressive and uninteresting”.

PUBLICITY:

“Well, I had never heard of this guy, but my manager mentioned it to me, and we came to the conclusion that he was a completely unimpressive and uninteresting opponent. Why am I going to fight a guy who only stars in boring fights? A veteran with almost 30 fights, who isn’t even ranked!? You'll want to grab me all the time. I want an opponent who puts on a show like me, not a girlfriend, especially because I'm already a married man. Are you still disrespectfully calling me a clown? If I had his fighting style, I would already be looking for another job…maybe in the circus”, replied Poatan.
