The two consecutive defeats for the YouTuber Jake Paul can have lasting consequences for the legacy of Tyron woodley in combat sports. At least that's what the former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83 kg) believes, Chris Weidman.

When commenting on the recent knockout suffered by the former UFC welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) in his rematch against Jake Paul, Weidman said he believed Woodley's legacy would definitely be tarnished.
"Tyron woodley You'll have to live with it. They're comparing him to Ben Askren now. He won't get another chance, that's it. I don't know who he could fight that would be enough to elevate him back to the place where he would have people supporting him and thinking he's legit again. I think his legacy has definitely been tarnished, which is a s*** thing to say,” Weidman opined on his “Won’t Back Down” podcast.
As for Jake Paul, who is undefeated in professional boxing, Weidman believes he is wasting time challenging fighters under contract with the UFC, such as Nate diaz, Jorge masvidal and the champion Kamaru Usman. Instead, the former middleweight champion would like to see a duel between the YouTuber and Anderson Silva.
“I would love to see him face Anderson Silva. He's challenging all these fighters with UFC contracts. I don't think any of those fights will happen at this point. The UFC would have to stay behind almost like in the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, but unless you make $500 million, like they did, the UFC isn't going to do it. So you're wasting time talking about Nate diaz, Jorge masvidal e Kamaru Usman,” Weidman said.
