King of knockouts in the UFC, Derrick Lewis chooses 'biggest blow' of his career in the organization

After beating the historic mark set by Vitor Belfort and Matt Brown, the giant chooses the best outcome in the company

Isolated in the lead as the greatest knockout artist in the history of Ultimate, Derrick Lewis is a feared name in MMA circles. At the top of the list among the most aggressive athletes in the organization, the 'giant' has a favorite outcome. In a press conference after the UFC Las Vegas 45, held this Saturday (18), the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) reached its greatest moment.

“I like the knockout I gave (Alexander) Volkov. (…) He's a Russian guy, so it was America versus Russia and I love all the Rocky (Balboa) movies. (…) It was perfect,” said Lewis.

This weekend, Lewis surpassed the historic mark of Vitor belfort and Matt Brown, who, together with the 'giant', headed the list of the UFC's greatest knockout artists. With the massacre over Daukaus, Derrick takes the lead.

Lewis's victory was not just about achieving a personal best. At the UFC Las Vegas 45, Derrick was able to defend his third position in the heavyweight rankings against an opponent who was undefeated in the organization, with four straight victories.
