Dana White makes numbered cards official by the end of the year

At the press conference that took place after UFC 162, held this Saturday, Dana White made official dates and main fights for the last four pay-per-view cards of 2013, the numbered cards.

The first on the list, UFC 165, will take place on September 21st in Toronto, Canada, at the Air Canada Center gym. The main fight will be a light heavyweight title fight between the champion Jon Jones and the challenger Alexander Gustafson. The co-main fight was also announced: it will be a fight for the interim bantamweight title between the champion Renan Barao e Eddie Wineland.

UFC 166 will take place in Houston, which will be hosted at the Toyota Center, on October 19th. The event will feature the conclusion of the trilogy between the heavyweight champion Cain Velazquez and former champion Junior Gypsy.

UFC 167 is scheduled for November 16th, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, in Las Vegas, promoting the welterweight title fight between the champion Georges St Pierre and the challenger John hendricks.

The 2013 UFC calendar will close on December 28th. On this occasion, the organization returns to Las Vegas for UFC 168, an event that will involve a rematch between the women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and her arch-rival and former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate. The two are recording the eighteenth season of the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter”, where they are both coaches of the two teams.
