Brazilian show on the preliminary card of UFC 162, an event held this Saturday (06), in Las Vegas, in the United States. The heavy weight Gabriel Napao needed just 17 seconds to knock out Dave Herman, while Edson Barboza won the 100% Tupiniquim duel against Rafaello Tractor with several blows from the knee.

He couldn't even get out. The Brazilian Gabriel Napao took no notice of Dave Herman and knocked out the American in just 17 seconds.

Right at the beginning of the fight, Herman tried to kick the Brazilian's knee. But quick to counterattack, Gabriel responded with a right swing that hit his rival's chin, who fell to the ground. Without wasting time, Napão landed two more punches until the referee interrupted the dispute and declared the technical knockout.

Edson Barboza wins Brazilian duel against Trator

In combat 100% Brazilian, better for Edson Barboza. The athlete from Rio de Janeiro showed all his striking game to defeat the Pernambuco native Rafaello Tractor by technical knockout in the second round.

With greater reach, Barboza soon found distance in the stand-up fight and unleashed his huge arsenal of kicks. The Rio native began working with kicks to Trator's knee, who tried to take the fight to the ground, but was always unsuccessful. Owner of the fight, Edson tried to repeat the plastic round kick, which made him famous at UFC Rio 2, but the blow didn't land.

With an advantage in the first round, Barboza ended the fight in the second round. After escaping a takedown attempt, he attacked Rafaello's knee again with several kicks. The Pernambuco native, who felt the blows a lot, was no longer able to stand.

After landing the 30th kick on Trator's knee, referee Herb Dean interrupted the dispute, as the Pernambuco native was unable to remain standing.

Another duel that caught a lot of public attention was between Northern Irishman Norman Parke and Japanese Kazuki Tokudome. The match was very competitive and full of changes in control during the 15 regulatory minutes. In the end, Norman Parke won with a unanimous decision from the judges.

Andrew Craig and Chris Leben They also put up another good fight. Veteran Leben started better, but ended up feeling the rhythm of the fight in the second half of the fight. In the third round, Craig managed a knockdown, working with several punches from above, but Leben, with great courage, remained in the fight until the end of the fight.

In the judges' decision, the balance of the octagon was proven and Andrew Craig took the fight in a split decision (29×28, 28×29, 30×27).
