Tommy Fury is injured and is out of the fight against Jake Paul; Tyron Woodley should be the replacement

Tommy Fury is out of the highly anticipated fight against Jake Paul. The two were due to face each other on December 18th, in Florida (USA), but an injury forced the Brit to cancel the duel. The information was released by journalist Chisanga Malata, from “SunSport”.

The duel between Fury and Paul was highly anticipated by fans, as it would be the YouTuber's first experience against a professional boxer, albeit an inexperienced one. The brother of the world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury He has seven victories in his undefeated record in the noble art. Paul, in turn, is also undefeated with four professional victories, the last two being over Ben Askren and Tyron woodley, former Bellator and UFC champions, respectively.

According to the British portal “Mirror”, Tyron woodley will be Fury's replacement and will have the rematch against Paul. The two faced each other in August this year, with the YouTuber winning a split decision from the judges in a fight surrounded by provocations from both sides.

The former UFC welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) did not accept the defeat well and began a tireless campaign for a rematch, even agreeing to tattoo the phrase “I love Jake Paul” in his hand, but saw his rival close a deal to face Tommy Fury. With the Briton's injury, however, it is likely that Woodley will get his long-awaited rematch.
