One of the biggest legends in world jiu-jitsu has a new home. Nino “Elvis” Schembri is the new athlete at Universidade da Luta, a team led by Mauricio Shogun, Murilo Ninja and André Dida.
In his last appearance in MMA, Nino defeated Daniel Grandmaison, by submission, in March this year, at HCF, however, in a recent interview with Sensei Sportv, on the Globosat channel, the black belt stated that he plans his return to MMA for 2009 in style, and has even challenged Japanese Shinya Aoki, a specialist in gogoplata, a move created by the Brazilian.
