Instead of seeking medical help, Dana White preferred to call Joe Rogan, the UFC's official commentator, who has become a controversial reference on various topics due to the success of his podcast. Recently, Joe Rogan made headlines around the world when he revealed that he had treated Covid-19 with a cocktail of drugs that included monoclonal antibodies and ivermectin, a medicine that has no scientifically proven efficacy against the new coronavirus.
“I literally walked out of the sauna, picked up the phone and called Joe Rogan. He told me to test myself as soon as I woke up. On Monday, I woke up at 9am, took the test, it was positive. He said to take the monoclonal antibodies as soon as possible. By noon, he had already taken it, and he ordered a drop of NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). I did it. I woke up on Tuesday, I was cleaning my razor and I could smell the alcohol. My sense of taste and smell had returned by 11am the next day. Then I took a dose of ivermectin yesterday, a drop of vitamins, and today I took another drop of NAD. I couldn’t feel better,” said Dana White.
Dana White stated that she has already taken two doses of the vaccine and has not felt any other symptoms of the disease other than the loss of smell and taste. The Ultimate president stated that he continues to isolate himself and practice physical exercise and justified why he followed Rogan's advice.
“It's not like I'm some crazy anti-vaccine conspiracist, but Rogan is a very bright, very intelligent guy who talks to the best and brightest out there. I don't believe the narrative. At the end of the day, it's a free country. They tell you to stay home for 10 days until you don't test positive. That doesn't seem smart to me. I believe in finding solutions and answers to problems. Rogan has worked with 30 or 40 people who have done this and he swears it works, and he's a good friend of mine who I've known for over 20 years. So I believe what he says. I believe the way he explained to me how it works, it made sense to me”, explained White.
