With this phrase, the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) of the organization went on to explain how, according to him, Ultimate harmed his career, not only as a fighter. Criticisms range from contract losses with the cinematic universe to support for a sports brand.

“I won't be sued if I said that, but what I can say is that, after I made '(The) A-Team' (2010 film), some organizations made it difficult for me to make other films. That's all I can say. I signed with one of the biggest agencies in Hollywood and they didn't do shit for me. I felt like it was on purpose. In fact, I know it was on purpose, because now, they (members who run the agency) own the UFC. (…) That’s why you haven’t seen me in films anymore”, he guaranteed.

The accusations did not stop there. Quinton also spoke about an alleged affair involving the sports brand 'Reebok'.

“I was getting ready to fight and I got a big contract with Reebok and then the UFC was like, 'We don't know Reebok. You can't sign with them.' Immediately after, the UFC makes a big deal with Reebok. (…) That's why I left and, when I left, UFC told everyone that I was retired. I went to Bellator and most fans didn't follow me on social media because they thought I had stopped,” he said.

Finally, Jackson spoke again about the invitation to be part of the select group of athletes present in the 'Hall of Fame'. The veteran reinforced that the title does not interest him.

“Honor me with a f*cking check. We are not like baseball or football players. We don't have a pension or anything like that. The guys who go to the 'Hall of Fame' have pensions. I had a lot of injuries and pain to make a lot of money to the UFC, selling pay-per-view and tickets. Why would I care about 'Hall of Fame'? To be famous? I don’t fight to be famous”, he concluded.

One of those responsible for spreading MMA in the 2000s, Jackson is now 43 years old. His last engagement in mixed martial arts came in December 2019, when he was knocked out by Fedor Emelianenko.
