Kickboxing legend, Alex Poatán He is still at the beginning of his journey in Ultimate, but he is already attracting attention due to his stand-up level. Teammate of the Brazilian, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) Glover Teixeira believes that the pupil can have a chance at the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.) against Israel adesanya in just three victories.

Two of the biggest names in the history of kickboxing, Poatan and Adesanya have faced each other on two occasions in the past. And, in both fights, the Brazilian won – a knockout (2016) and a judge's decision (2017). Four years later, the Nigerian finds himself as UFC middleweight champion, while Alex debuted in the organization in November this year, beating Andreas Michailidis No. UFC 268.
