Last Saturday (27), Brazilian Márcio Pedra won an important victory for his career. In the main fight of AMF Fight Nights 106, which took place in Syktyvkar, Russia, the Brazilian athlete defeated the brother of legend Fedor, Aleksander Emelianenko with a katagatame in the first round.

In a fight valid for the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg), Márcio began by being taken down but showed a good ground game and managed to reverse the position. Next, the Brazilian got the mount and after intense pressure, he landed a katagatame that made the Russian give up.
With the important victory, the Brazilian returned to the path of positive results after two fights, with a defeat and a draw, respectively. With an impressive frequency of fights during the season, the Brazilian athlete has already had five fights in 2021 alone. Márcio Pedra has an MMA record of 17 wins, six setbacks and just one draw.
