Number four of bantamweights, Rob Font reveals the 'key point' to defeat José Aldo

The North American did not hide his excitement for the UFC Vegas 44 duel and revealed that he will use jabs as his main asset to emerge victorious

Next opponent José Aldo, the american Rob font believes he knows the way to emerge victorious in the confrontation against the MMA legend. In an interview with the website 'B.J. Penn', the number four in the bantamweight rankings (up to 61,2kg) did not hide his excitement for the biggest duel of his career and believes that his jabs will be the 'key point' of the fight.

“I plan on keeping him upright and making him shoot. Force him to make bad decisions, then get on top of him and make him pay. I believe it will be a standing war against him. Starting with the jab will basically be the entire game plan, too. I need to be able to get my jab on him, keep him in range and not let him dictate the pace or land his leg kicks. The jab will be a key point in this fight,” said Font.

Showing enough respect for José Aldo, Rob did not hide his excitement for the highly anticipated duel on December 4th.

“It’s huge, another main event in Vegas, I love Vegas. He's another big name, a legend, a former champion, basically a Hall of Famer. This is a big fight, big name and another main event, so I'm blessed to have this opportunity,” concluded the bantamweight.

Number four in the division led by aljamain sterling, Rob font has been riding on four consecutive victories in his career. His last defeat was in July 2018, to the Brazilian Raphael Assunção. The North American has an MMA record of 19 victories and four setbacks.
