Anderson Silva is scheduled to defend the middleweight belt against the North American Chris Weidman at UFC 162. an event that takes place next Saturday (06), in Las Vegas, in the United States. Keeping an eye on his opponent's dangerous ground game, Spider worked hard to perfect his jiu-jitsu.
Anderson went to Kings MMA, Rafael Cordeiro's gym, in San Diego, and trained his ground game against his compatriot Fabricio Werdum. In the session, the heavyweight taught the champion submission attacks from below in the ground fight.
“Brazil has a great history and contribution to world MMA. Jiu-jitsu is a legacy left by Master Carlson Gracie, the great Master Carlos and Master Hélio. They are people who left this legacy for us, from the evolution of MMA to MMA. I think the history of Brazilian MMA has helped the UFC and the sport to grow a lot. We have been continuing the hegemony of this Brazilian history and this Brazilian tradition that is MMA”, said Anderson after training.

Strange!! After Werdum's fight against Minota... Spider kind of took Werdum out of time... There were even some comments from W. saying that he admired Spider, but after that and so on… .And now this training is happening…. It’s either a lot of PROFESSIONALISM or Anderson’s tremendous nerve…
