Former UFC champion Henry Cejudo reveals family problem and asks for prayers

'Triple C' reveals his sister, Gloria, is battling stage four cancer

Sad moment! Former UFC flyweight (up to 56,7kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) champion, Henry Cejudo lives a tough family battle. On his official 'Instagram' account, the American revealed that his sister, Glória, is fighting stage four cancer and asked fans to pray for her health.

“Hi everyone, I just want to ask for your prayers for my sister Gloria Cejudo who is battling stage four cancer. It has been a challenge for the family, as we do not know where the origin of the cancer comes from. I just ask that you keep us in your prayers,” Cejudo wrote on social media.

'Triple C' is currently away from the octagons and has been helping with the wrestling game at the gym'Fight Ready'. He was responsible for sharpening the grappling of Weili Zhang for revenge against Rose namajunas No. UFC 268 and also showed training with Jon Jones, who is preparing to debut in the heavyweight division

Today, aged 34, Henry Cejudo boasts a record with 16 triumphs and two setbacks in mixed martial arts. In his career, the 'Triple C' has already beaten names like Demetrious Johnson, TJ Dillashaw, Marlon moraes e Dominick Cruz.
