Max Holloway praises Yair Rodriguez after battle at UFC Vegas 42: 'I love you, brother'

Winner of the duel, Hawaiian believes that Mexican will become Ultimate champion in the future

Max Holloway He is, in fact, thinking about his next career steps. However, the Hawaiian did not stop looking to the past with the intention of praising his last opponent, Yair Rodriguez, after 'war' in the main struggle of UFC Las Vegas 42 last Saturday (13).

In a moment of great sportsmanship, Holloway highlighted that he gained great appreciation for Rodriguez after the duel, in addition to pointing him out as the future champion of the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.) in the future.

Winner of the main fight, Max defended his first position in the rankings. Thus, the Hawaiian only remains with Alexander as a 'stone in his side', as the champion beat the Hawaiian on two occasions, one of which resulted in Max losing the belt.

Yair, in turn, surprised and silenced some of the critics by presenting Max with one of his biggest career commitments. A dark horse in the bookmakers, the Mexican returned to action after more than two years.
