the american Chris Weidman is determined to take the middleweight belt from Anderson Silva at UFC 162, an event that takes place on the 6th, in Las Vegas. The fighter, who is considered by many to be the biggest threat to the Brazilian's reign, does not hide his anxiety about stepping into the octagon in front of the champion.
“I've been dreaming about this fight against Anderson since I started in MMA,” Weidman admitted to the UFC website. “He is a great champion, but he knows I am a stronger challenger than many people think. I'm going to move forward and use my wingspan to mix takedowns and punches”, added the confident fighter.
Chris Weidman warned that the Brazilian could pay dearly if he doesn't respect him in the octagon in Las Vegas. “Anderson Silva He is patient and methodical in his approach. He is opportunistic and knows how to take advantage of any mistake. But he's there to win, just like me. He would be a fool if he didn’t respect me as a fighter,” warned the challenger.

Saying that Weidman has no experience is an excuse for Silva and his team to divert the focus from the fact that Silva does not have the strength to overcome Weidman. In my opinion, Silva will probably be finished in the 2nd round, this is because Silva is a disaster on the ground and is only passable on the exchange.
