"It was not easy. It was a difficult first round, but I came prepared, I trained a lot. In the second round, I saw the opening and saw it happen. (The first round) wasn't frustrating at all because the way he was squeezing, the way he was committing too much to his game, the way he was putting so much energy, I felt him getting tired. So I decided to stay there, just stay composed, because I knew that for the second round, he would never be able to go three rounds fighting like that. So I just took my time”, said the Brazilian fighter.

The victory over Michailidis marked Poatan's debut with the organization. Former Glory champion, the Brazilian fighter now has an MMA record of four victories and just one setback.
