This Tuesday morning (9), the UFC carried out a weekly update of its rankings after the UFC 268, last Saturday (6). What caught attention in the new list, however, was the movement in the weight-for-weight ranking involving athletes who did not fight at the weekend.

Charles of the Bronx, which was tied with Max Holloway in seventh place, he lost one position and ended up behind the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg), despite neither athlete having seen action in the last event. The Brazilian lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) was the only fighter to change his position in the rankings.
The division most affected by UFC 268 it was the middleweight category (up to 83,9 kg). With the victory over Edmen shahbazyan, Nassourdine Imavov appeared for the first time in the ranking, occupying twelfth place. Previously considered one of the biggest promises in Ultimate, Shahbazyan fell four places and appears in fifteenth. Uriah Hall, Brad Tavares e Kevin holland benefited from the update, gaining positions, while Kelvin Gastelum e Chris Weidman fell on the list.
Another category that changed significantly due to the weekend's results was roosters (up to 61,2 kg). With the beautiful knockout over Frankie Edgar, Marlon Vera he gained two positions and came in eleventh, while the former lightweight champion dropped four places, ending up in twelfth. Even without fighting, Peter Munhoz, Marlon moraes e Dominick Cruz gained one position each, while Raphael Assunção lost one.
The rest of the categories remained unchanged. Even losing the title fights, Colby covington and Zhang Weili remain in the top positions of welterweight (up to 77 kg) and strawweight (up to 51,2 kg), respectively.
