After knocking out Frankie Edgar spectacularly in UFC 268, Marlon Vera celebrated his 'dream come true' last Saturday (06). In a post made on his 'Instagram', the Ecuadorian did not hide his happiness at fighting in the historic Madison Square Garden and said that he is getting closer to a fight for the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg).

In thirteenth place in the bantamweight rankings, Vera won her third fight out of the last four. His last defeat was in December 2020, to the Brazilian José Aldo, in the unanimous decision of the judges. In his professional record, the Ecuadorian has 20 triumphs, seven setbacks and one draw
