Away from fighting since November 2019, Renan Barao already has a date to return to action. This Friday (25), the North American event 'Premier Fighting Championship' announced the Brazilian's debut on November 19th, against Tyson Duckworth, in a fight valid for the featherweight title (up to 65,7kg), which takes place in Massachusetts (USA). The announcement was made by the company on social media.

Professional since 2005, Renan Barao He had his greatest career peak in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg), where he became champion and even defended his title on three occasions. The Potiguar even had a winning streak – which lasted around nine years – interrupted in 2014, by TJ Dillashaw.
Tyson Duckworth, in turn, began his career in 2007 at the company 'Alaskan Fighting Championship' and had good times in the organization. However, the American is in the worst phase of his career, with three consecutive defeats – the last being in July this year, when he was knocked out in the first round against Robert Hale.
Now, the Brazilian has a record of 34 triumphs, nine setbacks and one 'no contest' (fight without result) in his career. The North American has a record of 12 positive results, nine negative results and one draw.
