In the penultimate fight of the preliminary card of the UFC 267, Ricardo Carcacinha faced Zubaira Tukhugov and ended up defeated in a unanimous decision by the judges (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). The Brazilian put up a good fight, but was no match for the Russian's boxing, who demonstrated great precision and power in his right hand strikes.

The defeat against Tukhugov was Carcacinha's third since debuting in the UFC. The Brazilian also has three victories in the organization and a total of 15 victories and four setbacks in his career.
Zubaira Tukhugov recovered from the defeat suffered against Hakeem dawodu, in his last fight. Owner of a record of 19 wins, five losses and one draw, the Russian now has two victories in his last three fights.
THE FIGHT
The first round of the duel was dominated by Zubaira Tukhugov, who controlled the distance well and punished the Brazilian with precise combinations. In the final stretch of the assault, however, Ricardo Carcacinha, cornered against the fence, landed a beautiful spinning elbow, shaking the Russian.
The second round began with Tukhugov landing a good straight shot to Carcacinha's face. Comfortable from a distance, the Russian showed good precision, speed and strength in his right-handed strikes. Tukhugov also showed excellent dodging ability, dodging a sequence of four blows from the Brazilian. In the final stretch of the round, the Russian managed a nice takedown to guarantee another round.
Showing a sense of urgency, Carcacinha came back more alert for the third round. The Brazilian defended a takedown from the Russian and connected with a good knee. The two began to exchange boxing blows, with greater precision on the part of Tukhugov. Even winning the first rounds, it was Zubaira Tukhugov who went head on in the final stretch, fighting in the clinch until the bell sounded.
