Dana praises Vettori's professionalism for following decisions in controversy with the weight of Borrachinha

Ultimate President, Dana White, did not hide his gratitude to Marvin vettori for adapting to last minute changes in the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 41. Executioner Paulo borrachinha at last Saturday's show (23), the Italian was praised by the boss, who recognized the professionalism of the middleweight (up to 83,9kg). During the week, the last challenger for the group's title adapted to the changes in weight to face the Minas Gerais native.

“We were trying to keep this fight going and we couldn't do it without a guy like Vettori. He acted like a professional, firm. A guy who is incredible to work with,” said White.

During the week, the agreement on the weight at which the fight would be fought was changed twice. After being discarded at middleweight, the fight went up to 88,5kg, but the final contract was signed at light heavyweight (up to 93kg).

Despite going through a weight cut this week, Vettori went on to say that he would face Paulo in any division. That said, the Italian needed to nullify the physical strength of the Minas Gerais player this weekend.

The confrontation between Marvin and Paulo marked a great spectacle. For 25 minutes, the fighters put on a show and, after five rounds, the Italian was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
