Scott Coker celebrates 'Fedor Emelianenko effect' and projects Bellator's return to Russia

President plans expansion of his organization and says he may return to the location 'other times' in the year

This Saturday (23th), the Bellator 269 was held in Moscow, Russia, and had great repercussion due to the knockout of Fedor Emelianenko against Tim Johnson in the main fight. Happy with the public's participation, the organization's president, Scott Coker, reveals that he is expanding the promotion to countries in Europe and states that he wants to return to the location for other editions.

“We had a great turnout from fans here. With the expansion of Bellator, we decided to expand to Europe, with the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Israel, and now, we have added Russia to our list. We did a great job. We would like to build a business here and I consider promoting events here more often. The main reason was the Fedor Emelianenko, but we have other great Russian fighters,” said Coker.
