The unbeaten record of 19 fights, in an incredible eight years, has left the Brazilian Glover Teixeira quite confident about his future in Ultimate. One of the fighters with the most upward trajectory in the light heavyweight category, the Brazilian showed conviction in achieving a good result against the champion Jon Jones in a possible meeting between the two.
“I am very confident. If my next fight is against Jon Jones, I'm definitely going there to win. I give myself a 99% chance of winning”, said Glover, in the question and answer session at TUF Brasil 2 Finale, in Fortaleza (CE).

However, even with so much confidence in his abilities and the desire to compete for the title, Teixeira would not like to ignore his friendships to reach the top of the division and expressed his plans for the near future.
“I was going to fight Ryan bader, but he got hurt. That could continue to be my next fight. But there is also the winner of Rashad evans vs. Dan Henderson. I hope it's one of those guys. I wouldn't fight Lyoto. He's a great friend. I don’t even think about it,” revealed the fourth-ranked UFC light heavyweight.

Glover Teixeira He has a record of 21 wins and just two losses in his career. In his last appearance in the octagon, the Minas Gerais native from Sobrália submitted James Te Huna in just over two minutes of combat, at UFC 160.
