Last weekend, Boi faced his biggest challenge since his UFC debut. Against Arlovski, the Bahian had good moments, but was unable to convince the judges, who, after three well-fought rounds, gave the veteran the victory.

Aggressive as usual, Carlos' commitment was reflected after the confrontation against Andrei. At the press conference after UFC Las Vegas 40, the veteran admitted to having vomited, supposedly a consequence of the various attacks suffered in the confrontation with the Tupiniquim.
